Stress Awareness Month has been held every April since 1992 to raise awareness of the causes and cures for our modern stress epidemic. It is an opportunity for everyone to focus on achieving good mental health and help to break the stigma around stress.
The last two years have been challenging, it’s important that we’re looking after ourselves and one another. By talking about stress and its effects and showing compassion to those who are feeling anxious we are able support those who are struggling.
Through campaigns and spreading awareness of the support and resources available including the ‘Help Inside the Hard Hat’ campaign, we want to ensure mental health remains at the forefront of conversations.
