As a proud local employer, we emphasise the importance of passing on skills to the next generation, inspiring talent to deliver service excellence. Apprentices and trainees are an integral part of our team, as members of the 5% Club we are committed to upskilling our workforce, developing the next generation of employees and inspiring younger people to work in the construction industry.

Our award winning apprenticeships offer practical learning in a live environment, with a network of support from mentors, fellow apprentices and the wider team. Through training and development our people have the opportunity to prosper and grow with us. We currently have 29 apprentices on structured training programmes across 10 disciplines, which accounts for approximately 6.5% of the Group’s total employees.

We’re looking for people who bring fresh ideas and new ways of thinking whilst also learning from our highly experienced existing workforce. You will work with our teams across our diverse range of sites to gain hands on experience of the working world and understand how to apply your learning to a live environment.

There are a variety for apprenticeships, this will dictate how your programme is structured:

  • Level 2 – Intermediate Level Apprenticeship (GCSE)
  • Level 3 – Advanced Level Apprenticeship (A Level)
  • Level 4-5 – Higher Level Apprenticeship (up to Degree Level)
  • Level 6-7 – Degree Level Apprenticeship

You will have the opportunity to work in a live environment as part of our team whilst learning at college. You’ll be supported by a network of apprentices, who’ll share the whole experience with you.
