Paving the way at Beamish

Beamish, the Living Museum of the North recently opened its 1950s Front Street terrace, comprising Middleton’s Quality Fish and Chips, John’s Café, No. 2 Front Street and Elizabeth’s Hairdresser’s with more exhibits to follow. It is an opportunity to discover life in a North East town during in the mid-20th century.

Utilising early specifications from that time Tynedale Roadstone has been involved in the research and implementation of products to create authentic looking road surfaces.

We are proud to have played our part in creating amazing exhibits to give visitors a taste of the past.
